This event represented a critical milestone for WEG, a wildlife preservation non-profit organization based out of Santa Fe, New Mexico, as the group has significantly expanded their scope since its founding over two decades ago. At its 25-year mark, WEG celebrates the launch of an in-house legal team to initiate policy reform and uphold environmental law, as well as its Endangered Species Act legal settlement, all of which has ushered in a new era of wildlife protection for more than 1,000 plants and animals.
